Two newly-promoted teams in the Ghana Premier League are battling for the service of the midfielder for the Glorious Accra Hearts Of Oak, Manaf Umar.
The midfielder could be on his way out as Real Tamale United and Gold Stars football clubs have shown interest in adding him to their squad ahead of the upcoming football 2021/2022 Premier League Season.
Reports say that Bibiani Gold Stars are looking to signing Umar Manaf on a season-long deal, unlike Real Tamale United (RTU), who want a permanent deal for the player.
The player was part of the Accra Hearts of Oak team that won the just ended Ghana Premier League Season, 2020/2021. Although he saw limited match opportunities since coach Samuel Boadu took charge of the club, many teams are after his service.
Manaf, the attacking midfielder of Hearts was not included in the Hearts of Oak’s 36-man squad for the CAF Champions League group stage.
Bibiani Gold Stars however are increasingly confident of landing the player signature, even though Real Tamale United hasn’t given up yet on securing the service of Umar Manaf.
