There will be a one-month pause in vehicular traffic at the Flower Pot roundabout exit onto the Motorway for motorists starting today, September 20th, and ending on October 15th, 2021.
According to the Roads and Highways Ministry, the delay is due to the ongoing construction of a flyover onto the highway.
Drivers are urged in a statement signed by Engineer James Amoo-Gottfried, Acting Director of the Ministry’s Department of Urban Roads, to heed traffic management signals placed at strategic locations to help traffic flow.
It’s been announced that the Ministry of Roads and Highways, through the Department of Urban Roads, wishes to inform the public and road users that the exit point of the Flower Pot Roundabout onto the motorway will be closed for one month starting on Monday, September 20, 2021, and ending on Friday, October 15, 2021. This is the result of the flyover onto the highway being built.”
There will be traffic management signs placed at strategic points along the road, and drivers must abide by them.
As stated previously, this will make it possible to build the motorway flyover.
Special announcement to motorists!!!
