Police Cannot Stand In Our Way – NDC laments.
The strongest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress NDC has said that the Ghana Police Service cannot stop them from making their voice heard.
Before the hashtag “justice for Ibrahim Muhammed Kaaka” by the youth of Ejura, the National Democratic Congress as a party has set a date to take to the street to demonstrate and tell their grievances to the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the New Patriotic Party government.
According to the communication officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, it is high time President Akufo-Addo opens his ears to hear the cry of the citizens of this country or blame himself for any misfortunes.
He said that the NDC, the citizens of Ghana, and the conveners of the fix the country campaign are ready to tell President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government that the same people who voted for him are calling him to solve the insecurity issues affecting the citizens.
“We have therefore informed the Ghana Police Service about our demonstration on the 6th of July, 2021. We know that they will protect us and will not think of stopping us as it happened some years ago.
Wake up Ghana, be a citizen and not a spectator.
