NDC’s March For Justice Demonstration Has Taken A Different Face, Details
The members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have taken to the street of Accra, Ghana, today Tuesday 6th of July, 2021 to demonstrate.
The planning of this particular demonstration was announced after the shooting and killing of unarmed protestors in Ejura for seeking justice for Kaaka who was murdered in his house.
The late Mohammed Ibrahim Kaaka was of the active members of fix the country campaigners and a social media activist.
The demonstration which seems to have been seeking justice for the late Mohammed Ibrahim Kaaka has taken another form and some Ghanaians on social media share their disappointment in the NDC.
According to some Ghanaians, the NDC is acting like a comedian who wants to create jokes for people to laugh at and get satisfied at the end of the day.
“You told the world of your intention to hit the streets on a peaceful March to seek Justice for the late Ibrahim Kaaka who met his untimely death.
The police, as a result, removes all blockades to enable you to have your demonstration without any hassles
The day has come, you are marching FOR JUSTICE, and you hold placards bearing topics worlds apart from the reason for which you said you would be demonstrating.
How is a March For Justice related to the promised 88 hospitals the Akufo-Addo administration pledged”, Ghanaians asked.
To some people on social media, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) doesn’t even know that the processes leading to the construction of these hospitals have been activated with some having had their sods cut for the commencement of the projects!
Some Ghanaians also added that strategically the NDC has an agenda different from seeking justice for Ibrahim Kaaka and that could be the only logical reason explanation one can think of with what is happening at their demonstration, March for Justice.
