Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has said that the #FixTheCountry online campaign is being led by cheap Ghanaian slay queens who do not benefit from NPP big men.
According to him, during Mahama’s administration, these slay queens were being sponsored by some big men unlike that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who would rather invest their money and not spend on them.
“The fix yourself campaign is been led by slay queens who say the men in the NPP don’t pay. Why should I pay such monies to you? Whilst, I’m sitting here I’ve a lot on my mind I want to do so why will I waste my money on you? They are even cheap too, they sit in planes and display their Gucci bags,” he said while speaking in an interview on his TV station Net2 TV.
Kennedy Agyapong is however throwing shades at Efia Odo, Yvonne Nelson, and other Ghanaian female celebrities who have trended the #FixTheCountry on social media.
Well, the #FixTheCountry online campaign has been all over the news for the past week. This is being promoted by angry Ghanaians, mostly young people, who believe their politicians have betrayed them.
This campaign, which has gathered support from across the political spectrum, prompted plans for demonstrations on the streets of Accra on May 9, despite the fact that the march was canceled due to a court injunction.
