Charles Opoku, the founder and leader of Akosua Baako Foundation fulfills his promises to the Senior High Schools in Assin North District.
As part of Mr Charles Opoku’s vision of becoming the Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency hopefully in 2024, he is giving it back to the society with the little he has.
He made a promise that his foundation (Akosua Baako Foundation) was going to organize Free Extra Classes for every single SHS students from the three Senior High Schools in the district.
Charles Opoku said this at a durbar when he was invited by the Seventh Day Adventist Church to support God’s work.
On Saturday 29th May, 2021 at Assin Bereku, free 50 beds for three months to study under hygienic atmosphere at Akosua Baako Hostel was donated to the leaders in charge of the extra classes.
According to him, this is the greatest opportunity he is offering to both SHS students currently in schools and to those who are preparing for re-sit to be able to better their learning capacity, hence improving their WASSCE Grades.
Also, the President in charge, NSS secretariat in Assin North will publish time table for the programme and will be communicated to the students through local information centers and the FM stations across Assin.
