A broadcast journalist in Ghana with extensive experience in radio and television broadcasting, Kevin Taylor has speak his mind on the issue of illegal mining and how the government is dealing with it.
The Founder of Loud Silence Media in Accra, Kevin Taylor has been consistent in criticizing Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party over the method they are using to stop illegal mining in Ghana.
According to Kevin Taylor, burning of excavators without arresting those who owns them will not solve the problem.
He also accused some gurus of the New Patriotic Party of being owners of many illegal mining companies in this country, making it difficult for Nana Akufo-Addo to arrest his own party members.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government could have done something better than what they are doing. Excavators that they are burning is just can be sold to contractors for construction of roads to generate income for the country.
It is high time Nana Addo and his government sit down and put another measures in place to stop the galamsey instead of burning excavators, he added.
