The Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency, Honorable James Gyekye Quayson has donated street bulbs to the Assembly members of Assin North constituency.
Honorable James Gyekye Quayson has been in the news for the past six months due to one Michael Ankomah-Nimfah petition, challenging the eligibility of Mr Quayson to be an MP, on the basis that he was a dual citizen of Ghana and Canada at the time he filed to contest as a parliamentary candidate.
However, the MP has seen how important it is for him to start working for the development of Assin Constituency despite the fact that he still has his case in court.
On Friday 11th June, 2021, Hon. James Gyekye Quayson together with some NDC party executives presented 180 street bulbs to eighteen (18) assembly members to help solve darkness situation in their various communities.
The Presiding member of Assin North District, Hon. Patrick Affum Ampomah who received the bulbs on behalf of all the eighteen Assembly members thanked the member of Parliament, James Gyekye Quayson for thinking about the welfare of his constituents.
