The chief of Assin Andoe, Nana Kwaku Atta Banafo III has praised the Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency, Honourable Rev. John Ntim Fordjour who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Education for his immense contribution to the transformation of the Assin South District.
He said the MP has demonstrated true leadership, competence and has proved beyond doubt that the development of the area is at his heart.
According to him, the MP’s appointment as a deputy minister of education was a sigh of relief since his commitment to the development of education is always outstanding and he is of the firm belief that the district will see massive infrastructural development under his watch.
Nana Kwaku Atta Banafo III made the statement during the Etsi Festival at Assin Andoe on Friday, July 23, 2021.
He also made a clarion appeal to parents to invest in their children’s education since the government’s Free Senior High School flagship program has absorbed some of the burdens of parents.
Meanwhile, the Presiding Member of the Assin South District Assembly, Honourable Emmanuel K Boadi who spoke on behalf of the Deputy Minister of Education, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour on his part, passionately called on the youth in the district to take their education seriously to attain a brighter future.
He reiterated the commitment of the MP to bridge the infrastructural and teacher deficit to improve quality education in the area. He however appeals to all and sundry to support and ensure that the District gets its fair share of development.
