Daniel Afriyie Barnieh of the glorious Accra Hearts of Oak has restated the club’s intention to win their preliminary round encounter against CI Kamsar football club of Guinea.
The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) decided that the first encounter will be a one-off in Accra sports stadium with the winner progressing to the next stage of the competition due to the political unrest in Guinea.
This is giving the home advantage because the one-off decider will be played at the Accra Stadium which is the home ground of Hearts.
Daniel Afriyie Barnier, who recently earned debut Black Stars call-up, is confident of a positive outcome ahead of the match.
According to him “this is a special game for both teams because it is a one-off game so everyone will play for victory”.
He said “We have confidence we can play like it’s a normal game. It’s important of course but in the end, our target is to have the victory on our side to be able to advance to the next stage of the CAF Championship.
